Laura Lee Emerson

Laura Lee Emerson, 64, of Calhoun Falls, died Thursday, July 7, 2022 at her home. She was born in Trenton, NJ to the late Ira Ralph Emerson, Sr. and Zella Marie Holland Emerson.

A graduate of Springfield, Vermont High School, Class of 1976, Laura served her country in the Vermont National Guard. She worked as a production associate in the textile industry as long as her health allowed. Crafting brought her many hours of happiness. Laura was a devoted member of the Calhoun Falls Church of God and the Beautifully Rooted Women’s Ministry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ira Emerson, Jr. and John Emerson.

Laura is survived by her son, Ron Touchette of Hardick, VT; daughter, Trista Touchette of Calhoun Falls; her life companion, James ‘Bug’ Bryant of Calhoun Falls; brother, Danny Emerson of Alabama; three sisters, Cheryl Dionne and Becky Millard, both of Springfield, VT and Donna Jacobs of Rockingham, VT; two grandchildren, Lieland Touchette and Lily Touchette; and many nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Laura’s life will be held 5:00PM, Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in the Calhoun Falls Church of God.
