Letitia Patton

Letitia ‘Tish’ Wiseman Patton, 86, of Donalds, SC, wife of the late James R. Patton, died Friday, March 21, 2025, at the home of her daughter. She was born June 9, 1938 in Salisbury, NC to the late William Maurice and Mildred Grace Fries Wiseman.

A proud graduate of Salisbury High School, Class of 1957, Tish embarked on a remarkable career as a Dietary Technician at Humana Hospital in Augusta, GA. For over 30 years, she brought her unwavering commitment to health and well-being into the lives of countless patients. As a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church in Evans, GA, Tish’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She actively participated in Sunday School and served as the Outreach Director for many years. Tish also harbored a profound love for nature. She found happiness and joy in the modest pleasures of life. Tish delighted in the delicate dance of birds flitting from branch to branch. Her love for beautiful flowers and gardening was a testament to her appreciation for life’s simply joys.

In addition to her husband and parents, Tish was preceded in death by her brother, infant Maurice Wiseman and sister, Sylvia Wiseman Harrell and her husband, Tom.

Tish is survived by her three daughters, Maury Patton Leach (Wayne) of Griffin, GA, Bridget Patton Bonetti (Juan) of Donalds, SC and Frances Patton Campbell (Bill) of Eastpoint, FL; sister, Sandra Grant (Cary) of Salisbury, NC; twelve grandchildren, Stephanie Zwingelberg (Austin), Brittanie Thompson (Ricky Penter), Letitia Blythe Campbell (Luke Stanley), Nina Singh (Sym), Roldon Bonetti, Pastor Jonathan Bonetti (Amber), James Michael Bonetti, Sonia Bonetti, Justin Bonetti, Pastor Jacob Bonetti (Hannah), Joshua Leach, Esq. (Lilybeth) and Caleb Leach; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:00PM, Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Legacy City Church, 1560 Parkway, Greenwood, SC. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 PM on Tuesday in the church sanctuary. Graveside services will be 1:00PM, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, 1134 S. Main Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.

The family is at the home of Juan and Bridget Bonetti in Donalds, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in memory of Tish be sent to Grace Baptist Church, 4945 Hardy McManus Road, Evans, GA 30809.
