Lillian Stewart Todd, 94, of Donalds, formally of Abbeville, died peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood. Mrs. Todd was the widow of the late Raymond Edward Todd. She was born in Pickens, SC to the late Taylor Hillhouse & Sunie Ameta Medlin Stewart. Mrs. Todd retired from the Abbeville-Milliken Plant after 45 years of dedicated service. She was a charter member of Southside Baptist Church in Abbeville where she taught the Dorcas Sunday School Class for many years. After moving to Donalds, Mrs. Todd became a member of Donalds Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Donalds Baptist Church WMU. Mrs. Todd was an avid gardener, loving all types of flowers. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, J.T. Stewart, James Bennett Stewart and Samuel Stewart and a sister, Mary Stewart Ramey Moon. She is survived by her daughter, Miriam Todd Clinkscales and her husband Bob of Abbeville; two granddaughters, Melanie Clinkscales Smith and her husband Joe of Abbeville and their children, Kristen and Grant; and Courtney Clinkscales Santos and her husband A.J. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two brothers, Lewis Stewart of Simpsonville, SC and Rev. David Stewart of Mt. Pleasant, SC; five sisters, Leflesha Stewart Cox and her husband Ed of Clinton, SC, Beatrice Stewart Brown of San Angelo, TX, Oveline Stewart King of Abbeville, SC, Avanelle Stewart McCord of Belton, SC and Betty Stewart Woolbright and her husband Lee of Bogart, GA; a sister-in-law, Ruth Bryant and her husband George of Abbeville; The family will receive friends from 1:30PM to 2:30PM on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Donalds Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the sanctuary. Burial will follow in Forest lawn Memory Gardens in Abbeville. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Clinkscales in Abbeville. Memorial contributions, in memory of Mrs. Todd, may be sent to the Donalds Baptist Church, PO Box 91, Donalds, SC 29638.
