Lou Ellen Cone

Lou Ellen Cone, 103, of the Savannah Lakes Village, wife of the late Charles Jackson Cone, died Thursday, July 22, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Provencal, Louisiana to the late Morris Arnold and Bedie Nowlin Arnold.
A graduate of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, Mrs. Cone was employed as an elementary school teacher in Louisiana retiring after 20 years of service. Her work was a reflection of her love and appreciation for children. Reading brought her many hours of contentment.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cone was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanette Adger; one brother and one sister.
She is survived by a son, Bill Cone (Donna) of the Savannah Lakes Village; a daughter, Pennie Montgomery (Doyle) of Spring, Texas; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
All services will be private.
