Louise Fain

Stella ‘Louise’ Fain, 75, of Abbeville, died Thursday, December 7, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born August 10, 1948, in Greenwood to the late Henry Newman and Ernestine Wilson Fain.

Louise graduated from Greenwood High School and retired from Flexible Technologies after 32 years of dedicated service.  She enjoyed tending her many plants and watching her “shows” on TV; however, nothing brought her more joy than spending quality time with and spoiling her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Louise was a strong, loving and compassionate woman who made a significant impact on the lives of those around her.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scotty Callaway; grandson, AJ Callaway; brother, William Fain and brother-in-law, Donald Reid.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Sherry Bowie (Reid); son, Eric Callaway; sister, Carolyn Reid; two granddaughters, Lindsey Wilson (Josh) and Kayla Bowie (Daniel); grandson, Blake Callaway; and five great-grandchildren, Montana, Braiden, Brair, Bailey Wilson and Abby Bowie.

All services will be private.

The family extends their sincere appreciation to the physicians, nurses and staff of Abbeville HomeBridge Hospice for the great care and compassion shown Louise’s family.
