Louise 'Boots' Gibson

Louise ‘Boots’ Gibson, 93, of Calhoun Falls, wife of the late Haskel Gibson, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at her home. She was born in Social Circle, GA to the late E. J. Davis and Ola Cannon Davis.

A bookkeeper with Snipes Oil Company, Boots retired after many years of dedicated service where she was regarded as a reliable and organized lady.  She will be remembered for her deep love of family.  Boots cherished spending quality time with her loved ones, creating countless memories that will be treasured forever.   She was a member of Faith Harvest Fellowship.

In addition to her husband and parents, Boots was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Davis and R.L. Davis and two sisters, Mattie Martin and Viola Newton.

Boots is survived by her two sons, Wesley Gibson (Kelly) and Rickey Gibson (Cindy) all of Calhoun Falls; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, May 2, 2024, in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Jerry Dalton officiating.  The family will greet friends and relatives following the service.
