Louise Hill Johnson, 74, of Abbeville, wife of the late Bo Johnson, died Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Abbeville to the late Thomas Franklin Hill and Rossie Evelee Allison Hill. Mrs. Johnson was employed with the Tax Assesser’s Office at the Abbeville County Courthouse. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson was happy thrift store shopping. During her weekly visits to the Lowndesville Dance social, she met Mr. Bo Johnson who became her husband. where she met her husband. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Joshua Newton and Nicole Newton. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her two sons, Richard Newton (Beth) and John T. Newton (Kristi); two sisters, Ann Dutton and Martha Kimsey (Billy) all of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Renee Newton, Justin Newton, Carly Scott (Dusty) and Abby Campbell (Xavian); a great-grandchild, Ava Scott; and her beloved dog, Puddles. The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:00PM, Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Midway Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM on Saturday in the church sanctuary with Rev. R.C. Davenport and Rev. Jason McCary officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions, in memory of Mrs. Johnson, may be sent to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 W.
