Lucille S Argo

Lucille S. Argo, 82, of Abbeville, wife of the late Willie Argo, died Saturday, December 01, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Abbeville County to the late Mack and Corrie Black Simpson. Mrs. Argo worked at the Abbeville Shirt Manufacturing Plant and was a member of the Abbeville Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hunter Simpson and Chalmers Simpson. Surviving Mrs. Argo are her two daughters, Cheryl Hayes and her husband David of Easley, SC and Beverly Turner and her husband Randy of Abbeville; two brothers, Marion Simpson of Abbeville and J.W. Simpson of Greenwood; three sisters, Dorothy Argo of Abbeville, Frances Motes of St. Stephens, SC and Henrietta Timms of Abbeville; five grandchildren, Brad Turner, Stephen Turner, Kristen Turner, Lauren Hayes and Megan Hayes; and one great-grandson, James Riley Turner. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Abbeville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at the home of Mrs. Henrietta Timms, 317 Noble Dr. Abbeville.
