Margaret Ann 'Mardee' Williams Mauldin

Margaret Ann ‘Mardee’ Williams Mauldin, 84, of Abbeville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Abbeville to the late Edward E. ‘Eddie’ and Grace Prudence ‘Prue’ Simpson Williams. 

Ms. Mauldin attended Abbeville High School and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, reading, and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Pete Williams and the father of her children, John R. Mauldin. 

Ms. Mauldin is survived by her two children, Cyndee Cox (Mark) of Gainesville, GA and Eddie ‘Buster’ Mauldin (Nancy) of Pittsburgh, PA; four grandchildren, Eddie Milligan (Lindsay), Meghann Tope (Matt), Paige Mauldin, and Brooke Mauldin and two great-grandchildren, Addison and Brynnlee Tope. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:30AM to 11:30AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 11:45AM in the funeral home chapel. A private family burial will follow in Iva City Cemetery. 

The family would also like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Doctors and staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of The Piedmont for their love, compassion, and extraordinary care of our Mother and Grandmother during her final days and hours.
