Margaret Christine Finley Minor

Margaret Christine Finley Minor, 82, of Abbeville, wife of the late Riley E. Minor, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Abbeville Nursing Home. She was born in Abbeville to the late Tom & Margaret Cox Finley. Mrs. Minor was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by her son, Doug Minor and his wife Debbie of Belton, Texas; a daughter, Jean Sorrow and her husband Vic of Abbeville; two sisters, Anna Sentell and Jenny Purvis both of Abbeville; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM to 2:30PM on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. William Swink officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at their respective homes.
