Mark S. Voyles, 37, of Abbeville, died suddenly on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born in Abbeville to William F. 'Billy' Voyles, Sr. and the late Mildred 'Mickie' Ware Voyles. Mark was a member of Little Mountain Presbyterian Church. He was presently employed with the 323 Engineer Company, U.S. Army, and Spartanburg Unit. Mark was a 1992 graduate of Dixie High School and had served in the Operation Enduring Freedom War in Afghanistan. Mark was a beloved father, son, brother and a friend to all that knew him. His smile was contagious and will be missed by many. Surviving Mark is his father of the home; two children, a son, Brady Shane Voyles and a daughter, Katelyn Elise Voyles both of Hodges; a brother, William F. 'Frankie' Voyles, Jr. and his wife Chasity of Abbeville; two nieces and a nephew, Breana, Ashston and Trace Voyles; many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends that loved him and will miss him very much. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Little Mountain Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Chris Meyer and Rev. Larry Branyon officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the residence.
