Mary Lou "Bussey" Galbraith

July 2, 1938 — February 6, 2018

Mary Lou Galbraith, 79, of the Savannah Lakes Village, wife of Darold Galbraith, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the McCormick Rehab and Healthcare Center.  She was born in Mio, Michigan to the late Walter Bussey and Mirna Hutchins Bussey.

Mrs. Galbraith, a graduate of Mio High School, retired from her career in real estate sales.  For the past 25 years, she and her husband have resided in the Savannah Lakes Village where they enjoyed golfing and fishing.  Mrs. Galbraith was a member of the Lutheran Church by the Lake.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James ‘Jimmy’ Bussey.

She is survived by her husband, Darold, of 61 years, of the home; two sons, Duaine Galbraith of Michigan and Steve Galbraith of Florida; daughter, Brenda Roqueplot of Florida; brother, John Bussey of Michigan; three sisters, Sharon Canute, Marty Bass and Emma Hager all of Michigan; and four grandchildren.

A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be 11:00AM Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Lutheran Church by the Lake, 100 Twin Oaks Drive, McCormick, SC 29835 with Rev. James Kinsler officiating.
