Mildred Kidd Moss Bishop, 92, wife of the late James 'J.B' Moss, Sr., of Calhoun Falls died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at NHC in Clinton. She was born in Fort Mill, SC to the late Olin N. and Ouida Carruth Kidd. Mrs. Bishop retired from Burlington Industries in Calhoun Falls after many years of dedicated service. After retirement, she spent her time working with Beaudrots Flowers in Greenwood where she was able to express her love of flower arranging and décor. Mrs. Bishop was a member of the Calhoun Falls Garden Club and a life-long member of Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dunnie Rhodes. 'Mama Moss,' as she was affectionately known, is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn Rhodes of McDonough, GA, Diane Rork (Glen) of Greenwood and Elaine Cabaniss (Rusty) of Boiling Springs; her son, Barron Moss (Iris), of Abbeville; a sister, Dot Manning (Virgil) of Abbeville; seven grandchildren, Derrick Rhodes, Sheree Mills, Kim Rodgers, Darren Hughes, Delaney Plemmons, Erin Atkins and J.B. Moss; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. The family will receive friends from to 11:00AM to 12:00PM Monday, February 16, 2015 at Harris Funeral Home in Abbeville. Funeral services will begin at 12:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Latimer Cemetery in Calhoun Falls.
