Mildred Rudder Wiley, 88, of Calhoun Falls, wife of the late Clarence Edward Wiley, died Thursday, July 02, 2015 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Calhoun Falls to the late Luther Verdell Rudder and Lexie Thompson Rudder. Mrs. Wiley retired from Burlington Industries. She was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church, the Young at Heart Sunday School class, and the Joy Group. Mrs. Wiley enjoyed having yard sales and gardening. She will be remembered as a very giving person. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, L.V., Sr., Odis, and Charlie Rudder; four sisters, Dorothy Suttles, Doris Rudder, Mae Hall, and Betty Waters; and a great-granddaughter, Nicole Newton. Mrs. Wiley is survived by her daughter Ruby W. Johnson and her husband Mikey of Calhoun Falls; five grandchildren, Kristi Newton (Johnny), Craig Brown (Fran), Robbie Jo Hanna (Daniel), Cody Johnson, and Mike Johnson (Shelley); and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm – 4:00pm, Sunday, July 5, 2015, in Northside Baptist Church. Funeral Services will begin at 4:00PM in the church sanctuary with Rev. Mike McMinn officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at the home of Mikey and Ruby Johnson.
