Nancy A. Hansen, 78, of Greenwood, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Self Regional Healthcare. She was born in Newburgh, NY to the late James William and Elizabeth Pauline Croom Travis.
A graduate of Newburg Free Academy in New York, Mrs. Hansen was employed at the Wallkill School District as a bus driver from 1970-1980. She received her Dental Assistant degree and worked in that field for many years. Her employment with Pet stores allow her to care for and give homes to many various pets that were not able to be sold.
Mrs. Hansen enjoyed knitting, sewing and sailing. She was a girl scout leader for her children. She attended Aldersgate Methodist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Hansen are her four daughters; Brenda Zeiters (Doug), Sonja H. Santer (Marty) Helena H. White and Chris Young (Mike) ; eight grandchildren, Carissa, Erika, Matthew, Marlayna, Rachael, Travis, Samantha and Allie; five great-grandchildren, Mia, Ryan, Mason, Ruby and Desmond.
