Nina Louise Winger

Nina Louise Winger, 66, of Abbeville, wife of Stephen Winger, died Friday, May 21, 2021, at her residence. She was born in State College, PA to the late Robert and Lorraine Potter Tallon.
A 1976 graduate of Harrisburg Polyclinic School of Nursing, Nina was a registered nurse caring for people at several hospitals throughout the years. A beloved teacher, she retired from Crescent High School after teaching health occupation for 15 years.
Nina’s faith was strong and she loved her family beyond measure. Over the past seventeen years, she fought a courageous battle while suffering from four particular kinds of cancer. Nina was known for her gentle spirit, compassionate nature and sweet smile. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. Nina and her husband worshipped at Shiloh Mennonite Church.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Stephen, of the home; two children, Amber W. Overholt (Anthony) and Josh Winger, all of Abbeville; brother, F. Joseph Tallon and sister, Betty Neshteruk, both of Center Hall, PA; three grandchildren, Savannah Holliday (Austin), Tyler Overholt and Cayli Winger.
