Nora Elizabeth Gable

Nora Elizabeth Gable, 71, formally of Troy, SC, died Thursday, January 08, 2015 at her residence in Abbeville. She was born in Abbeville, SC to the late Lowrie B. Wilson Gable and Irene McCuller Gable. Ms. Gable was a member of the Lower Long Cane ARP Church in Troy. She was always happy helping others. Nora was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by many friends and caregivers. While many caring people helped Nora thru the years she always had a special place in her heart for Susie New and Al Dansby. A visitation for friends will be 2:30PM to 3:30PM Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Lower Long Cane ARP Church. Funeral services will begin at 3:30PM in the church on Saturday with the Rev. Mike Horne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Ms. Gable may be sent to the Lower Long Cane ARP Church, PO Box 117 Troy, SC 29848.
