Paul Max Heinrich Bollman, II, age 40, son of Paul Charles Bollman, Jr. and Barbara Crawford Bollman died on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Max was born in Charleston, South Carolina, was employed at the Laurens County Sheriff's Department, and was a member of Abney Memorial Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School. Max was blessed with a wonderful voice and grew up using his talent in musical productions at Southside Baptist Church in Abbeville, in the choruses of Emerald Junior High School, and Greenwood High School, and the youth choir at South Main Street Baptist Church. He was loved by everyone who met him and considered everyone he met his friend. He was an avid football fan, and especially loved following the Clemson Tigers. Max was first married to Melissa Smith Bollman and is survived by their sons, Jonathan Brady, age 10, and Isaiah Cole, age 8. He is survived by his wife, Danielle Williams Bollman, and a daughter, Anastasia. In addition to his parents, his wife, and children; he is survived by two sisters, Beth (David) Mitchell, of York, SC; Erin (William) Bowers, of Due West, SC; grandmother, Doris H. Bollman, of Abbeville, SC, a nephew, Robert Bowers, and a niece, Caroline Mitchell; his aunts, Marie Bollman (Charlie) Willis of Abbeville SC; Rose Crawford Weeks, and Anne Crawford(Larry) Carver, both of Taylors, SC , his cousins and extended family. Max was preceded in death by his grandparents, J. Allen Crawford, Helen Hall Crawford, and Paul C. Bollman, Sr. A celebration of Max's life with full law enforcement honors was held at Faith Baptist Church in Laurens, SC on Thursday, September 26 conducted by the Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop and Rev. Chris Hudson. The Honorary Guard of the Laurens County Sheriff's Department served as pallbearers and members of the Sheriff's Department served as honorary escort.
