Perrin Smith Hill, age 87, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Canterbury Court Continuing Care Retirement Community in Atlanta, Georgia. The body was cremated. He graduated in 1939 from Boy's High, Atlanta, Georgia; the forerunner of Georgia State University. A World War II veteran, he served for 3 years in England, France, Germany, Italy and North Africa. His career included several years with Citizens & Southern National Bank, followed by a change of careers focused on his love of antiques. His career in antiques spanned over 40 years and included several years with (Randy) Wilkerson's Antiques, Perrin Hill Antiques and most recently Holland & Company… all in Atlanta. He was predeceased by his younger sister, Becky (Alice Rebecca Hill Kelly) in 2001 his oldest brother Fred in 2005 and his older brother Harry in 2006. He is survived by sister-in-law, Polly Hill, 3 nieces, 6 nephews, 4 great nieces, 5 great nephews, 2 great-great nieces and 3 great-great nephews. Services will be graveside with inurnment in the family plot at historic Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville, South Carolina on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 11:00AM.
