Robert M. "Bob" Davis, 62, of Cedar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, June 8th at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, June 11th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Wendell Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Weiss Lake Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, June 10th. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife Jane Hagen Davis, son, Ron (Arnie) Davis of Gaylesville, mother, Myrt Satcher Davis of Abbeville, SC., brothers, Mike Davis, Roger Davis, all of Abbeville, grandchildren, Reid and Ashley Davis, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Davis was a native of Abbeville, SC. He served as Mayor of Cedar Bluff, for 13 years. Owner of Davis Lawn Maintenance, Member of Fair Haven Baptist Church, Cedar Bluff Civitan Club, American Motorcycle Association, Member of the Board of Regiona?(TM)s Bank inCedar Bluff, a Mason, and served with the Abbeville National Guarda?(TM)s Co. C 151st Signal Battalion. Pallbearers include, Harold Woodall, Lewis Grace, Jr., Harvey Dupree, Jeff Davis, Sammy Lewis, Chris Davis, Tony Davis and Andy Ellis.
