Robert Ewing Korhn, 64, a free spirit with a beautiful soul departed from this life Saturday, June 6, 2015. Bob was a self-employed gentle man. He never met a stranger. He loved people, since his work allowed him extensive travel, he acquired many dear and life-long friends across the United States. Bob is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Mittie Campbell Chapman, his mother Vera Chapman Korhn and his father Harry J. Korhn and his brother, Allen Mason. Survivors include his sisters, Judie Korhn Grabowski, Alexandria, LA, Harriet Korhn Meadows, McLeansboro, IL, Lu Korhn Wade, Greenville, KY, Rita Korhn Smith, JoAnn Korhn Lair, Peggy Korhn Wittum, all of Independence, KS; and his brothers, Bobby Korhn, Billy Korhn, Thomas Korhn, and Patrick Korhn, all of Independence, KS; as well as, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will never forget him. Memorial services for Bob will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 200 Church St., Abbeville, SC 29620, 3:30 PM, Thursday, June 25, 2015.
