Ronnie Lee Ferqueron

Ronald Lee ‘Ronnie’ Ferqueron, 64, of Troy, SC, died Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at his home.  He was born in Greenwood, SC to the late Ollie Lee Ferqueron and Carolyn Brown Ferqueron.

Ronnie retired after 22 years as Assistant Superintendent of the Tara Golf Course, Savannah Lakes Village. Throughout his life, Ronnie exemplified what it meant to be a caretaker.  He dedicated himself to being a loving caregiver for his mother and father.  His love for family shone through in everything he did.  Ronnie enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, watching old movies and woodworking.

He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Ferqueron of Troy, SC and the mother of his daughter, Kay Wilkie, of McCormick, SC; and a special friend who was like a brother, Terry Bowick.  Their memories with him will remain forever in their hearts.

Graveside services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, May 27, 2023 in Troy City Cemetery.
