Ronny Campbell

Arthur R. ‘Ronny’ Campbell, 78, of Abbeville, husband of Wanda Hazel Campbell, died Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the Hospice House in Greenwood. He was born in Abbeville to the late Bennett Graydon Campbell, Jr. and Esther Simpson Campbell. 

Ronny was a graduate of Abbeville High School, Class of 1964. A machinist, he owned and operated Campbell’s Machine Works for 30 years, showcasing his passion for craftsmanship and hard work. Ronny’s memory will be cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 28½ years, Wanda, of the home; children, Trevor McNure (Link), Ben Campbell (Ann) and Cathy C. Lowery (Wayne); two brothers, Don Campbell (Patti) and Rick Campbell (Ann B.); sister, Betty C. Irvin; six grandchildren, Camery Lowery, Spencer Campbell (Coyia), Nathaniel Campbell, Teagan Lowery, Pace Lowery and Tillie McNure; a great-grandchild, Evelyn Campbell; and a special long-time friend, Sharon Mundy.
