Rosemary A. Torongeau

Rosemary Ann Torongeau, 86, of Lake Secession, SC, wife of the late Lyle Thomas Torongeau, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Detroit, MI to the late Herman Quiel and Ethel Vogel Quiel.

Rosemary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Abbeville, SC, and long time member of Our Lady, Queen of the Universe, Huntsville, AL.

She is survived by her three sons, Tim Torongeau of Lake Secession, SC, Lyle Torongeau Jr. of Huntsville, AL and Vincent Torongeau of Antreville, SC along with their families.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be at 4:00PM on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Father Jacob Joseph officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family invites friends to join them at her home directly after mass.
