Ruby James Cutter

May 3, 1924 — February 10, 2011

Ruby James Cutter, 86, resident of Abbeville Nursing Home, wife of the late Theodore J. "T.J" Cutter, died peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Pickens County, SC to the late Jesse D. and Sally Moore James. Mrs. Cutter was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and will be missed by many. She was a member of New Life Worship Center in Abbeville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Jerry Cutter and two brothers, Earl and David James. Surviving Mrs. Cutter are her three sons, Bobby Cutter and his wife Frances of Abbeville, Leland Cutter and his wife Georgianna of Anderson, and Ronnie Cutter and his wife Cynthia of Abbeville; two daughters, Dianne McGee and her husband Charles and Judy Norman and her husband Randall all of Abbeville; two brothers, Roy James of Calhoun Falls and Troy James of Seneca, SC; fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM to 2:30PM on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 3:00PM with the Rev. Earl Hartley and Rev. Bobby Cutter officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at their respective homes. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Abbeville Nursing Home for the care that was extended to Mrs. Cutter during her time there.
