Sammy Hall

Samuel H. ‘Sammy’ Hall, 74, of Abbeville, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at his home. He was born in Abbeville to the late Dewey ‘Leon’ Hall and Dorothy Louise Gibert Hall. 

Sammy was a 1968 graduate of Abbeville High School and retired from Baker Brothers where he was a HVAC salesman for many years. He cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will forever be treasured. Sammy’s interests also included a passion for classic cars and a fondness for cats. He was a member of Asaville Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Samuel ‘Ryan’ Hall; the mother of his children, Deborah L. ‘Debbie’ Hall; and special friend, Nancy Wilson Reece. 

Sammy is survived by his daughter, Julie Hall Fleming and her husband, Mike; three grandchildren, Allison Fields (Cody), Katie Cook (Josh) and Taylor Fleming; five great-grandchildren, Calli, Elloree, Wade, Lane, and Cooper. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM, Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Asaville Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM, Sunday, in the church sanctuary with the Rev. Dwayne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Asaville Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family is at the home of Allison and Cody Fields, 16 Bell Road, Abbeville.
