Samuel B. "Sambo" Uldrick, 59, of 308 Tillotson Rd. Anderson, died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Abbeville County to Sara Link Uldrick and the late William Perrin Uldrick. Mr. Uldrick retired from formally the Frigidaire Company in Anderson and attended the Bethany Baptist Church. Sambo, as many called him, will be missed for his love of motorcycles, Ford cars, golf-carts, his family, his many friends and most of all his grandkids. Papa Sam, as he was affectionately known, loved to follow his grandsons in their many sport activities. Surviving Mr. Uldrick is his daughter, Toni Uldrick Gilmer and her husband Freddie of Honea Path; his mother, Sara L. Uldrick of Abbeville; a brother, Link Uldrick and his wife Wilma of Abbeville; a sister, Susan U. Slay and her husband Tommy of Abbeville; two grandsons, Benjamin "B.J." Chase Gilmer and William Samuel "LilSam" Gilmer both of Honea Path; and his fiancAC.e, Katrina Mills Coleman of Anderson. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM (TONIGHT) Monday, October 8, 2007 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 12:30PM Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at his residence 308 Tillotson Rd. Anderson.
