Sara Janelle Todd Campbell

Sara Janelle Todd Campbell, 85, of Calhoun Falls, wife of Allen Leroy Campbell, died Thursday, July 20, 2023, in Elberton, GA. She was born in Elberton, GA to the late Dale and Inez Chandler Todd.

Mrs. Campbell was a loving and devoted mother to her sons Rick and Chuck Campbell. Her nurturing spirit shaped their lives and instilled in them the values of hard work, dedication, and love for family. Mrs. Campbell’s guidance will continue to inspire generations to come. She worked in the textile industry as a weaver, retiring from Rocky River Mills. Mrs. Campbell was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard ‘Rick’ A. Campbell and brother, Bob Todd.

Mrs. Sara is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Allen Leroy Campbell of Calhoun Falls, SC; a son Chuck Campbell and daughter-in-law Kelly Schrank of Elberton, GA; three grandchildren, Dale, Brad, and Dallas Campbell; four sisters, Mae Waters of North Carolina, Dailene White of Calhoun Falls, SC, Joyce Simpson of Columbia, SC, Kay Poss of Elberton, GA, and sister-in-law Lynn Saxon of Augusta, GA.

A service to celebrate Mrs. Campbell’s life will be 1:00PM, Saturday, July 29, 2023, in the Harris Funeral Home – Calhoun Falls Chapel, 526 E. Savannah St. Calhoun Falls. The family will greet family and friends following the service.
