Scott Ashley

Scott Ashley, 58, of Due West, SC died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Abbeville County to the late Jack and Frances Fleming Ashley.

Scott was a 1979 graduate of Dixie High School and a devoted Gamecock fan. He was a former employee of the Torrington Plant in Honea Path. Scott was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Ashley.

Scott is survived by his son, Jamie Ashley and his wife, Dione, of Donalds; two grandchildren, Mayson and Riley Ashley; and four brothers, Danny Ashley and his wife, Lula, of Ware Shoals, Tim Ashley and his wife, Debra, of Greer, Rickey Ashley and his wife, Anne, of Abbeville and Terry Fleming and his wife, Glenda, of Greenwood.

Graveside services will be 11:00A.M., Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Due West Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kile Antone officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the grave.
