David 'Scott' Flowers, 41, husband of Misty McClain Flowers, of Iva died Thursday, August 14, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Anderson to the late Allen Flowers and Jeanette Hill Flowers. Scott was a 1990 graduate of BHP High School and was employed by General Electric. He was an avid Clemson Tiger fan, but his biggest joy in life was taking care of his wife and children. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and father. In addition to his father, Scott was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Allen Flowers. He is survived by his wife of almost 19 years of the home; his mother of Belton; a son, Keaton Flowers; two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kinsley Flowers, all of the home; a sister, Pam Pellitier, of Irmo; his father- and mother-in-law, Frankie and Jean McClain, of Iva; and a host of extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Monday, August 18, 2014 at Keowee Baptist Church.
