Shelby Jean Williams

Shelby Jean Williams, 76, of Due West, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood. She was born July 20, 1948, in Abbeville to the late Ethel J. Williams and Mary Mae Burton Williams.

Shelby was a very active and dedicated member of Due West Baptist Church. Her joys of life were cleaning, gardening, helping others and her cat. 

Shelby comes from a large family of more than a dozen. She is survived by her siblings, Kenneth Williams, Joyce Dodgen, Martha Human, Leroy Williams and many nieces and nephews. Most of her adult life, she lived in the home of a sister, the late Hazel W. Campbell.

The family will receive friends 2:30PM – 3:30PM, Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 4:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Bannister officiating. Burial will follow in Due West Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family expresses their heartfelt appreciation for all the kindness and outstanding care given to Shelby by the CICU team at Self Regional Healthcare.
