Steven M. Culler, 69, of Honea Path, husband of Karen Holub Culler, died Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. He was born in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Norman Gerald and Geneva Ackerman Culler. Steven graduated from Hicksville, OH High School and honorably served in the United States Air Force. He was a painter and enjoyed gardening and was happy selling his produce at the Greenwood Farmer’s Market. Steven was a talented man who was known as a “jack of all trades”. His leisure time often found him enjoying 18 holes of golf. Steven was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Bossum. Steven is survived by his wife, Karen, of 46 years of the home; daughter, Tammy Renee Culler (Jeffery Tessier) of Honea Path; son, Robert Allen Culler (Sally Kelly) of Iva; sister, Shelia Vajen of Napoleon, OH; and two grandchildren, Kirkland Mackenzie Boyer and Abbygail Elizabeth Boyer. The family will receive friends 3:00PM – 4:30PM, Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Robert Sayer officiating. Inurnment, with military honors, will follow at 3:00 PM at MJ “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson.
