Sumie K. Braswell

Sumie K. Braswell, 77, wife of John ‘Buddy’ Braswell, of Abbeville, died Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Abbeville Area Medical Center. She was born in Fukuoka, Japan to the late Masaru and Shime Choda Kishimoto.

Mrs. Braswell is survived by her husband of 43 years, Buddy, of the home; two daughters, Erin Wilson (Jason) of Greenville and Evonda Marner (Steven) of Abbeville; a brother, Yukio Kishimoto; two sisters, Mitzi Walls and Takako Sugahawara; and three grandchildren, Landon, Zachary, and Emiko.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM – 4:00PM, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel. A Buddhist Prayer Service will begin at 4:00PM in the funeral home chapel where all are welcome.

Memorial contributions, in memory of Mrs. Braswell, may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
