Summer Greene Curles

Summer Greene Curles, 28, of McCormick, SC departed this life on December 4, 2009. She was born May 22, 1981 in Colorado Springs, CO and was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Ann Van Vlett Greene; a sister, English Marie Greene and her grandfather, Irvin Greene. Summer is survived by her biological family which includes her father Jeffery Allen Greene of Durango, CO; a sister, Starr Greene; a brother, Christopher Greene; a step-brother, Ryan Shannon; and three beautiful daughters Madelynne, Payton and Brenay. Not by birth, but rather by choice, she also leaves behind the extended family of her heart which includes father and mother, Bob and Brenda Hughes, aunt and uncle David and Sally Clough, sister Amy Young, brothers Greg and Kevin Sean Hughes and a nephew whom she dearly loved, Zack Young. She entered their lives ten years ago and has left a footprint on their hearts. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00pm Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Plum Branch Baptist Church, Plum Branch, SC, with Rev. John Noblin and Rev. Tony Beauford officiating. Pallbearers will be David Clough, Greg Hughes, Kevin Sean Hughes, Allen Bowie, Jimmy Prevatte and Scott Prevatte.
