Tammy Hughes

Tammy Hughes, 56, of Abbeville, wife of Mike Webb, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Callie and John Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. She was born in Greenwood to the late Jimmie Leroy Hughes and Shirley L. Minor Hughes. 

Tammy was known for her deep affection for animals and her dedication to her church, Shepherd’s Chapel. Her life reflected a commitment to both her furry companions, her faith and her family. Tammy will be remembered fondly by all those whose lives were touched by her warmth and friendship.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Mike, of the home; children, Scottie Lee Hughes of Simpsonville, Lesley Nicole Hughes of Lowndesville, Halee Webb, Scott Webb (Gina) and Michael Webb, II, all of Abbeville; two brothers, Jimmy Clifton Hughes and Johnny Joe Hughes, both of Ware Shoals; sister, Donna Gail Johnson of Waterloo; nine grandchildren, Joseph Booth, Zackary Booth, Isaiah Giles, Karleigh Giles, Justice Webb, Nick Webb, River Webb, Katelyn Webb, and Weston Webb; eight nieces and nephews, Robert Hughes, Shirley Hughes, Elanda 'Missy' Ashley, John Hughes, Daniel Thompson, Jeremy Brock, Chris Brock, and Emma Hughes.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:30 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Mr. Tommy McClinton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
