Trudy Mcinnis Blocker

Trudy McInnis Blocker, 65, of Abbeville, died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Self Regional Healthcare. She was born in Kannapolis, NC to the late John McInnis and Ruthalee Foster Fink. Mrs. Blocker was twice married, first to Victor Benton, Sr. and second to the late Bobby Blocker. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Terry McInnis. Surviving Mrs. Blocker are her two children, Angela McCurry (Mike) and Vic Benton, Jr. (Karen) all of Abbeville; her first husband, Victor Benton, Sr. (Sandra) of North Augusta, SC; two brothers, Jeffery Bruce McInnis of Shelby, NC and Mark McInnis of Abbeville; two sisters, Mary Gainey (Kent) of Kannapolis, NC and Cassie Deese (Curtis) of Abbeville; nine grandchildren, Heather, Trip, Austin, Cameron, Dallas, Jason, Cassidy, Davey and Venus; and four great-grandchildren, Serenity, Jada, Aubrey and Abbey. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM Monday, October 20, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:30AM on Monday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at the home.
