Vivian Miller Evans, 77, of Abbeville, wife of the late William B. ‘Bill’ Evans died Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. She was born in Dillon County, one of eight siblings, to the late Allen Worth Miller, Sr. and Anna Grace Moody Miller.
Vivian retired from the finance business after many years of service. Following retirement, she enjoyed being a caregiver and sharing her singing talent in area churches and nursing homes.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Gary Culbertson and Jeff Green and a grandson, Dale Green.
She is survived by her children, Katherine Coxe ‘KC’ Culbertson of Greenwood, Charles Coxe, II of Florida, Diana Green of Florida and Charlie W. Coxe (Kelly) of York; eight grandchildren, Shannon (Roger), Andrea (Clifton), Jacquelyn, Duece, Coleman, Benjamin, Thomas and Nathan; and two great-grandchildren, Katelynne Marie and Elijah Andrew.
The family will receive friends 10:00AM – 11:00AM, Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.
