Warren Dalton

Paul Warren Dalton, 73, of Lake Lure, NC, died Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his residence in Greenwood, SC. He was born in Lake Lure, NC to the late Paul Grayson Dalton and Ethel Crawford Dalton.

Warren was 1966 graduate of R.S. Central High School in Rutherford, NC and a member of Bill’s Creek Baptist Church in Lake Lure, NC. He retired after 40 plus years as the part owner and operator of Dalton Brother’s Grading. Hunting, spending time with family and baseball brought him much joy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Dalton and Jerry Dalton.

Warren is survived by his children, Stacey W. Dalton (Heather Gurley) of Marion, NC and C. Amy Dalton (Libby Harling) of Greenwood, SC; three grandchildren, Michael (Katie), Marissa (fiancé, Luke) and Makenna Dalton; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Colton Holden; two brothers, Larry Dalton (Debbie) of Lake Lure, NC and Gary Dalton (Molly) of Sunny View, NC; beloved caregiver, Nikki Gilliam of Greenwood, SC.

A service to celebrate Warren’s Life will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Bills Creek Baptist Church, 1475 Bills Creek Road, Lake Lure, NC 28746 with Pastor Louis Jackson and Pastor Donald Crawford officiating.
