William Leslie 'Bigfoot' Ellis, 63, of Calhoun Falls, husband of Gloria Bonds Ellis, died Thursday, November 17, 2016, at the Abbeville Area Medical Center. He was born in Calhoun Falls to the late John B. and Lizzelle Bryant Ellis. 'Bigfoot', as he was known and loved, retired from Flexible Technologies with 42 years of dedicated service. For many years, he owned and operated Bigfoot Headliner and was skilled in paint and body work. 'Bigfoot' was a car enthusiast, '57 Chevys were his favorite. He was a member of Calhoun Falls United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grand-son, Andrew Cade. 'Bigfoot' is survived by his wife of 44 years of the home; a son, John Ellis and his wife, Sunshine, of Calhoun Falls; two daughters, Leisa Ellis Ulrich and her husband, Michael of Statham, GA and Angela Bonds Cade, of Calhoun Falls; three sisters, Sharon Ellis Allen and her husband, David, of Anderson, Sherlyn Ellis York and her husband, Ronnie, and Bennis Ellis Burden and her husband, Tim, all of Calhoun Falls; nine grandchildren, Johnathan Ellis, Will Ulrich, Anna Grace Ellis, Zach Ulrich, Kaytelynne Griffin, Noel Martin, Marcus Bonds, Felicia Cade, and Adriana Cade; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Friday, November 18, 2016 in the Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel, 526 E. Savannah Street, Calhoun Falls. Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel with Rev. John Ellis and Rev. Allan Burden officiating.
