William "Kemp" Mckenzie

William ‘Kemp’ McKenzie, 90, of Abbeville, died Friday, September 14, 2018, at the Hospice House in Greenwood. He was born in Abbeville to the late Robert Keoun and Bernice Henry McKenzie.
Kemp nobly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a retired associate of the former Milliken and Co – Sharon Plant and of the Presbyterian faith. Kemp was a Mason and member of Clinton Lodge # 3.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert K. McKenzie and a sister, Marie McDonald. Kemp was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by a niece, Amanda Bradley of Columbia.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
