William 'Willie' Russell Hill

William 'Willie' R. Hill, 51, of Hodges, husband of Kristy Hughes Hill, died Friday, November 12, 2021, at his residence. He was born in York, SC to Evelyn McGill Hill and the late James Neel Hill.

Willie was a 1989 graduate of Dixie High School and member of Winona Baptist Church. He found great happiness spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son James Hill and a sister, Darlene Sosbee.

Willie is survived by his wife, Kristy, of 32 years; his mother Evelyn; four sons, Russell Hill (Amanda), Clayton Hill (Ashley), Benjamin Hill (Danni Hebel) and Brantley Hill; a sister, Kat Searcy (Brandon); a brother, Neel Hill; a brother-in-law, Randy Sosbee and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:30AM on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in the Winona Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Willie's great aunts, Sue McGill (Shane), Mary McGill and Doris McGill for the love and support they have shown through the years.
