Wilma Braswell Uldrick

Wilma Braswell Uldrick, 80, of Abbeville, wife of the late Link F. Uldrick, died Friday, September 1, 2023, the Renaissance Senior Center in Due West, SC. She was born in Wilmington, NC to the late Stanley Wright Braswell and Ruth Campbell Braswell. 

Mrs. Uldrick was a 1961 graduate of Greenwood High School and member of Warrenton Presbyterian Church. For many years Mrs. Uldrick was the main face of Wright Middle School where she served as secretary, making lifelong friends, before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, fishing, old movies and Coca-Cola in the small glass bottles. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Elton, Giles, Sam and John ‘Buddy’ Braswell. 

Surviving Mrs. Uldrick are her three children, Rhonda U. Amber (Jay) of Bethlehem, PA, Jason L. Uldrick (Carolyn) of Beaufort, SC, and Amy U. Andrews of Greenwood, SC; four sisters, Ann Carnley (Ray) of Florida, Wenona Newton (Oliver) of Abbeville, Brenda Mundy of Greenwood and Karen Braswell of Abbeville; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Braswell of Sumter, SC; six grandchildren, Catherine A. Biciocchi (Nicolas), John R. Amber, William P. Uldrick (Savannah), Trace Andrews, Matthew B. Uldrick and Mary Emma Andrews; three great-granddaughters, Bailey Grace Biciocchi, Brooklyn Marie Biciocchi and Willow Kate Uldrick.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM-1:00PM on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, at 1:30PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Corrina Gambrell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
